Here are our Christmas wishes for you…
I made this card in my art studio.
I started by creating the first layer, a torn-paper collage. Images came from a variety of magazines, including National Geographic, Architectural Digest, Vogue (UK), and more.
I applied the strips, one by one, to a sturdy sheet of art paper. My adhesive is always Yes! Paste.
Then, I printed a Christmas tree outline on standard printer paper, and cut out the inside of the tree shape.
I positioned that over the torn-paper collage.
After that, I scanned the completed image, added text (in Photoshop), and sent it to friends and family via email. (My husband is Todd, and my real name is Eibhlin, pronounced exactly like “Eileen.”)
