This was so ridiculous, I had to share it.
You may have seen one of my previous posts – possibly on social media – showing a car that had been abandoned in Maine, in a parking lot. It was half-buried in snow. I have no idea if anyone ever claimed it.
But then, when we got to Florida this winter, we saw the car on the right. Yes, it’s held together with bungee cords.
On one hand, I have the deepest sympathy for the owners of those respective cars. People are coping as best they can, in a time of financial turbulence.
On the other… Well, absurdity strikes me funny, whether it’s something I’ve done or someone else has. After all, humor is what gets us through the difficult and embarrassing moments, right?
(And, as a reminder: Neither of those cars are ours. We’re driving a well-seasoned 2002 Honda CRV, and recommend those vintage vehicles to anyone spending a lot of time on the road.)
